The Professional Legal Training Course (PLTC) is the Law Society's bar admission course. Successful completion of the course is a requirement for law school graduates seeking call and admission to the bar in British Columbia.

PLTC helps law school graduates reach the entry-level competence necessary to be licensed to practise law in BC. Through emphasis on practical skills training, the course gives new lawyers an important head start in their chosen profession.

PLTC has earned international recognition and served as a model for bar admission programs all over the common law world.
