On December 15, 2023, Justice Riley pronounced a consent order that Jasmeet Dhaliwal, a.k.a. Jasmeet Kaur Aulja and Global Unity Consulting Corporation doing business as Smart Connect be prohibited from engaging in the practice of law, or from holding themselves out to be a lawyer or any other title that connotes they are qualified or entitled to engage in the practice of law, including barrister, solicitor, counsel or “vakil”.
