Policy and regulatory information

Information about the Law Society's policy and regulatory decisions, about committee and task force work and about Law Society programs and activities is available in the What's new section and in the Law Society newsletters, the Benchers' Bulletin, which is published four times a year, and E-Brief, which is emailed to lawyers approximately 10 times a year.

Media award and workshop

The Law Society of BC sponsors the annual Jack Webster Award for Excellence in Legal Journalism, which is open to members of the British Columbia media. In cooperation with the Jack Webster Foundation, the Law Society also hosts an annual Law and the Media Workshop, which is open to all members of the media.
