King’s Counsel nomination period delayed until August

The nomination period for the King’s Counsel (KC) designation, originally scheduled for May 20–July 15, has been delayed and will now be open from August 12–October 7 to accommodate the upcoming provincial election.

The KC designation recognizes BC lawyers who have made significant contributions to the legal profession and their legal practice, and who display professional integrity and good character. Candidates must also have been a member of the BC bar for a minimum of five years.
