Unique Aboriginal mentoring program to launch second cycle in BC

Vancouver – The Law Society is launching the second cycle of the Aboriginal Lawyers Mentorship Program (ALMP), to help improve access to legal services and advice in British Columbia. The ALMP aims to enhance the retention and advancement of Aboriginal lawyers, who are currently underrepresented in the province’s legal profession.

The program’s second cycle will be launched at a Meet and Greet event, where junior Aboriginal lawyers can meet and be paired with experienced lawyers to establish a mentor-mentee relationship. Details are as follows:
