Vancouver – The Law Society and the Jack Webster Foundation present Judging the Journalist, the 2016 Law and the Media workshop.

The workshop will examine a fictional scenario that involves an investigative story under scrutiny by a judge. With bumps and legal twists, the seminar will explore the responsible communication defence and determine how the journalist’s story fares under cross examination.

The annual Law and the Media Workshop offers an opportunity for journalists to refresh and enhance their knowledge of the laws around reporting and journalism.
