Major system upgrade April 4-5, systems will be unavailable
The Law Society will be performing a major network system upgrade from 8 am on Saturday, April 4 to 6 pm on Sunday, April 5. Please note that all systems, including the member portal, email and the Law Society website, will be unavailable as a full system power shutdown is required. Juricert and the Interjurisdictional Database will be placed into maintenance mode. Network access is scheduled to be restored and major systems operational by Sunday at 6 pm.

The BC Supreme Court has issued updates regarding the court’s operations in response to COVID-19, including further information on what matters are considered essential and urgent. The BC Court of Appeal has issued an update to the court's operations that reflects Ministerial Order No. M086 regarding the suspension of timelines to commence civil or family proceedings.
