Description
In this course, we first differentiate between members of the family class and family members, and the role of the sponsor in applications to immigrate to Canada.
We specifically discuss the criteria a person must meet in Canada to be considered a spouse, and how this differs from both a common law partner and a conjugal partner.
We review how the genuineness of the relationship is determined, and what factors may lead to an application being refused.
We then discuss the process for immigrating dependant children and adopted children, and finally, grandparents and parents.
