Description
In this course, we examine the most important and common items on business balance sheets: assets, liabilities, and equity.
We begin by defining assets, including current assets, notes receivable, ending inventory, flow of costs, and intangible assets, amongst others.
We then discuss liabilities in balance sheets, and the relationship created between a debtor and creditor as a result of debt.
Lastly, we examine how equity is handled in balance sheets: how are shares issued? How should continuances be handled? How are shares redeemed, and cancelled?
