Nature of conduct to be inquired into:

GS

1.  Between July 2014 and December 2015, while acting for your client GS, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $95,000 received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act. 

DH

2.  Between January 2015 and December 2015, while acting for your client DH, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $82,274.91 that you received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

RK

3.  Between October 2016 and November 2016, while acting for your client RK, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $10,000 that you received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

CB

4.  Between July 2014 and December 2015, while acting for your client CB, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $17,632.53 that you received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

5.  Between January 2016 and May 2016, while acting for your client CB, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of $61,750.95 that you received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

6.  In August 2016, while acting for your client CB, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $44,314.58 that you received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

MW

7.  In July 2016, while acting for your client MW, you misappropriated or improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $255,903.51 that you received in trust for your client, contrary to Rule 3-64 of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

BP

8.  In December 2016, while acting for your client BP, you improperly withdrew some or all of the amount of $48,000 that you received in trust for your client, by withdrawing those funds from trust without first preparing and delivering a bill to your client, contrary to Rule 3-65(2) of the Law Society Rules.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or breach of the Act or rules, pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.
