Speakers Bureau

Law Society of British Columbia Speakers Bureau

The Law Society of BC is proud to provide information about what it does and how to access its services through its Speakers Bureau.

All speakers are volunteers. Requests for particular speakers and topics are subject to availability and, as such, may not be able to be filled. Please submit your request a minimum of four weeks in advance.

   Please note that, as the regulator of lawyers in BC, the Law Society does not offer presentations on particular areas of law and the Society does not provide legal advice.

  Please be aware that:

  • Requests for speakers may be denied;
  • organizations may be required to cover reasonable travel expenses; and
  • you cannot assume a speaker has been assigned to your event until you have received a confirmation of acceptance by the Law Society.

Once a speaker agrees to a specific date, a confirmation will be sent to you and the speaker. All final arrangements to be made between the event organizer and the Law Society speaker.

Please allow a minimum of one week to process your request.
