Justice Review Task Force seeks comment on draft Supreme Court Family Rules
A Concept Draft of the proposed Supreme Court Family Rules has been posted on the Justice Review Task Force website. Judges, lawyers, paralegals, advocates, court registry staff and others are encouraged to provide feedback to the JRTF via their online forum by June 30, 2008.
The JRTF established the Family Justice Reform Working Group in 2003 and asked it to explore opportunities for reform of BC's family justice system to better meet the needs of separating and divorcing families. One of the recommendations in the Working Group's 2005 report was to create new family rules.
