Client Trust Ledger - Rule 3-60(b)

This subsidiary ledger records chronologically for each client and matter all trust receipts and disbursements and includes:

  • a separate client ledger card for each client and matter;
  • posting transactions by date, purpose and amount;
  • calculation of the unexpended balance in trust for the client.

Each entry in the Trust Receipt and Disbursement Journal must be recorded in the Client Trust Ledger. Keep the entire Client Trust Ledger intact as part of your accounting records.
