Check a lawyer’s discipline history

When a lawyer’s alleged behaviour is very serious, the Discipline Committee of the Law Society may decide to hold a formal discipline hearing.

The Committee first authorizes the Executive Director to issue a citation, which is a public document that lists the allegations against the lawyer.
