Citations are issued by the Law Society of BC's Discipline Committee and list allegations against a lawyer which will be considered at a discipline hearing. Please note that allegations in a citation are unproven until a discipline hearing panel has determined their validity.

Nature of conduct to be inquired into:

1. On or about June 26, 2012, while at a Unitow lot in Surrey, British Columbia attending to a client matter, you engaged in dishonourable or questionable conduct that casts doubt on your professional integrity, or reflects adversely on the integrity of the legal profession, or reflects adversely on the administration of justice, contrary to Chapter 2, Rule 1 of the Professional Conduct Handbook then in force, including but not limited to some or all of the following: 

(a) telling a police dispatcher that you were “going to get a crowbar and smash up the place”;

(b) taking pictures of Unitow personnel and property after being requested not to do so; 

(c) blocking the entrance to the Unitow lot with your motor vehicle; 

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct, pursuant to section 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.
