Nature of conduct to be inquired into:

1. You failed to respond to communications from the Law Society in connection with the scheduling of a conduct meeting which the Discipline Committee required you to attend, contrary to Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to respond substantively to one or more of letters or emails dated July 22, 2014, August 11, 2014, September 2, 2014, September 16, 2014, October 8, 2014, November 12, 2014, November 13, 2014 and December 9, 2014.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

2. You failed to cooperate fully with an investigation by the Law Society into a complaint made by GH (Complaint File [number]), contrary to Rules 3-5(6) and (6.1) of the Law Society Rules and Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to:

(a) respond substantively to one or more of letters dated July 2, 2014, September 17, 2014, December 2, 2014 and December 31, 2014;

(b) attend an interview scheduled for January 15, 2015.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

3. You failed to cooperate fully in an investigation by the Law Society into your conduct in litigation involving your clients YA, KL and a pharmacy consultants group (LSBC Complaint File [number]), contrary to Rules 3-5(6) and (6.1) of the Law Society Rules and Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to:

(a) respond substantively to one or more of letters dated July 2, 2014, September 17, 2014, December 4, 2014 and December 30, 2014;

(b) attend an interview scheduled for January 22, 2015.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

4. You failed to cooperate fully in an investigation by the Law Society into your conduct in litigation involving your clients AW and [number] BC Ltd (LSBC Complaint File [number]), contrary to Rules 3-5(6) and (6.1) of the Law Society Rules and Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to:

(a) respond substantively to one or more of letters dated December 4, 2014, December 30, 2014 and January 21, 2015;

(b) attend an interview scheduled for February 12, 2015.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

5. You failed to cooperate fully in an investigation by the Law Society into a complaint made by DW (Complaint File [number]), contrary to Rule 3-5(6) of the Law Society Rules and Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to respond substantively to one or more of letters or emails dated October 14, 2014, November 4, 2014, November 13, 2014, November 24, 2014, December 2, 2014, and December 30, 2014.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

6. You failed to cooperate fully in an investigation by the Law Society into your conduct in litigation involving your client TN (LSBC Complaint File [number]), contrary to Rules 3-5(6) and (6.1) of the Law Society Rules and Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to:

(a) respond substantively to one or more of letters dated January 21, 2015 and January 30, 2015;

(b) attend an interview scheduled for March 3, 2015.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

7. You failed to cooperate fully in an investigation by the Law Society into a complaint made by your client TN (Complaint File [number]), contrary to Rule 3-5(6) of the Law Society Rules and Rule 7.1-1 of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia. In particular, you failed to respond substantively to one or more of letters or emails dated October 23, 2014, November 27, 2014 and December 31, 2014.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct or a breach of the Act or rules pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.

8. You failed to comply with an Order made by a Hearing Panel on December 4, 2014, contrary to Rule 7.1-1(e) of the Code of Professional Conduct for British Columbia, by failing, on or before December 18, 2014, to do one or more of the following:

(a) deliver a response to a letter dated April 11, 2014 from the Law Society or provide a valid reason for not doing so;

(b) comply with the terms of a Rule 4-43 Order made May 27, 2014.

This conduct constitutes professional misconduct pursuant to s. 38(4) of the Legal Profession Act.
