Courts and LTSA issue practice directives
The Supreme Court of Canada has enacted amendments to its Rules of Practice, which include changes to filing deadlines and adjustments to fees and costs. A guide to the principal changes is available on the court’s website at www.scc-csc.gc.ca or by calling any Registry officer at 613 996-8666.
The Chief Justice of the BC Supreme Court has issued two directives: 1) on initial orders made pursuant to the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act; and 2) concerning the Class Proceeding Act and the National Class Action Database. The directives are available in the Supreme Court section of the BC courts website at www.courts.gov.bc.ca.
