Join us to connect for a virtual chat about the pandemic’s impact on mental health.

It has been a hard year. While the development of vaccines provide hope we will soon turn a corner, disruptions in distribution and rising numbers of cases remind us that there is still a way to go. Add the pressures and conflict that come with being a lawyer, and it is would be easy to have times when things are getting to you.

It helps to talk about it.

The Law Society of BC is hosting two virtual sessions for BC lawyers to come together and check in with each other and to talk about what to do to improve mental health and well-being within the legal profession. The virtual event is an opportunity to share your thoughts on how we can best support each other and prioritize wellbeing for the profession. Law Society President Dean Lawton, QC, will say a few opening remarks before opening the floor to you for an engaging dialogue facilitated by Brook Greenberg, QC, Cheryl D’Sa (for the afternoon session) and Kendra Milne (for the evening session).
