Outside interests

In brief: Practicing lawyers who are also engaged in another profession, business or occupation must not allow their outside interests to jeopardize their professional integrity, independence or competence. A lawyer must not allow involvement in an outside interest to impair the exercise of their independent judgment on behalf of a client.
