April mental health campaign highlights self-care, parenting and family finances

A new campaign aimed at supporting self-care, parenting, navigating family finances and caregiving is now available to lawyers in BC through LifeSpeak, one of the Law Society’s free mental health resources. The Caring for You, Your Loved Ones and Everything in Between campaign runs through the month of April and covers important topics that may be relevant to you and your family.

The campaign and all content on the wellness platform provides anonymous access to resources and content 24/7, including short videos, live Q&A web chats with mental health experts and blog posts. LifeSpeak also provides access to courses that can be claimed for continuing professional development credit.

Navigating family finances

Navigating challenging discussions about finances with loved ones becomes increasingly important as financial pressures continue to rise. Patience, understanding, and open communication are essential for building unity within the family.
