Each year the Law Society awards gold medals to top graduating students at each of the province’s law faculties.

The medal is awarded to graduating law students from the University of British Columbia, the University of Victoria and Thompson Rivers University faculties of law who have achieved the highest cumulative grade point average over their respective three-year programs.

UBC gold medallist

University of British Columbia: Kelsey Jade Wong received the gold medal from 2022 Law Society President Lisa Hamilton, QC, pictured at left with Wong and Dean Ngai Pindell.

UVic gold medallist

University of Victoria: Kelty McKerracher received the gold medal from Law Society Bencher Pinder Cheema, QC, pictured at right with McKerracher and Interim Dean Val Napoleon.

TRU gold medallist

Thompson Rivers University: Janae Enns received the gold medal from 2022 Law Society Second Vice-President Jeevyn Dhaliwal, QC, pictured at left with Enns.
