Each year the Law Society awards gold medals to top graduating students at each of the province’s law faculties.
The medal is awarded to graduating law students from Thompson Rivers University, the University of Victoria and the University of British Columbia faculties of law who have achieved the highest cumulative grade point average over their respective three-year programs.
2026 Gold Medallists
Thompson Rivers University:
Christopher Wiebe (left) received the gold medal from Law Society First Vice-President Michael Welsh, KC (right).
University of British Columbia:
Dylan Nouri (right) received the gold medal from Law Society President Thomas Spraggs, KC (left).
University of Victoria:
