2025 Bencher election results

The Bencher election results are now available: 6 new Benchers were elected, and 16 Benchers were re-elected (3 by acclamation).

Pursuant to Law Society Rule 1-5(4), Thomas L. Spraggs, KC (District No. 4), Michael F. Welsh, KC (District No. 6) and Katrina Harry, KC (District No. 1) will continue to hold office as Benchers until they complete their respective terms as President. 

President Brook Greenberg, KC congratulates the elected and re-elected Benchers and thanks all those who stood for election. Mr. Greenberg also thanks the Benchers who will not be returning, acknowledging the years of dedicated service of Paul Barnett, Nikki L. Charlton, KC, Jennifer Chow, KC, Sasha Hobbs, Dr. Jan Lindsay, Barbara Stanley, KC, Gaynor C. Yeung, KC and Jonathan Yuen. Ms. Chow and Ms. Stanley, as well as Mr. Greenberg, will become Life Benchers in 2026.
