Three new public representatives join the Law Society’s governance board

The Law Society welcomes the appointment of John James Greschner, David Allan Perry and Kathleen Ruth Wittenberg to its board of governors, known as Benchers. They have been selected by the provincial government to serve as appointed Benchers, effective January 30, 2026.

Appointed Benchers are members of the public selected for their expertise and perspectives from outside the legal profession. Six appointed Benchers and 25 elected lawyer Benchers across BC work together to ensure the public is well served by a competent and honourable legal profession.
