Vancouver lawyer Roderick Wayne Kirkham has admitted to professional misconduct and agreed to a six-week suspension, effective September 16, 2025.
According to a consent agreement, Kirkham admitted that between 2021 and 2023, he used his firm’s trust account to receive and disburse funds on behalf of a client without providing legal services directly related to those funds.
In accepting the agreement, the Chair of the Discipline Committee considered an Agreed Statement of Facts, a summary of circumstances, a letter from Kirkham containing his admissions, and the fact that he had no prior professional conduct record.
