Vancouver lawyer Jason Chieh-Sheng Wang suspended for professional misconduct

Vancouver lawyer Jason Chieh-Sheng Wang has admitted to professional misconduct and agreed to a one-month suspension commencing on June 16, 2025.

Wang admitted in a consent agreement that when representing his client in a loan matter, he improperly notarized four legal documents without meeting with the signatories, solemnly declared three affidavits pertaining to three separate Certifications of Trust when he knew the affidavits contained false information, and improperly commissioned three Certifications of Trust that were affirmed without the signatories being present before him.

In accepting the consent agreement, the Law Society took into consideration an Agreed Statement of Facts, a letter from Wang containing his admissions, and the outcomes in prior, similar cases.
